The consulting firm KPMG released a report on "The shape of AI governance to come" in January 2021. The report proposed five trends of AI regulation, including (1) Shaping a regulatory future around R&D, (2) Create steering groups to discuss and ideate on governanceconstructs, public policy and ethics, (3) Create a forum for discussion and collaboration, (4) Build the AI ecosystem including skills development, technology capabilities, partnerships, and cross-functional collaboration, and (5) Countries and governments are not only establishing AI frameworks, but also creating policies, laws and acts.
